In the School of Visual and Performing Arts, programs of study integrate theory, practice and history so students can respond to the rapidly changing demands within the visual arts professions. Academic programs in Art and Design include the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, with concentrations in Creative Arts Therapy, Graphic Design, Photography, and Studio Art; the School also offers a Bachelor of

Science in Interior Design. For students who demonstrate interest and talent, the School provides many opportunities within its range of offerings, from traditional studio arts to advanced computer animation. Balancing the theoretical with the practical, and classroom exercises with internship experiences, is the hallmark of the School of Visual and Performing Arts. Students applying for admission are required to submit a portfolio of artwork for review by the faculty. To prepare the student for contemporary directions within the arts, studio programs emphasizing creative and critical thinking are complemented with the technical skills needed to explore and use the visual languages of Art. These creative and technical proficiencies are placed in historical and aesthetic contexts, all within a liberal arts education. Endicott College firmly believes that the more diverse the educational background, the more prepared the student will be for meeting the challenges of a professional practice. In addition to the visual arts, there are many opportunities in Performing Arts including the Dance, Theater, and Music Minors, and participation in our many performance groups including: Endicott Singers, Repertory Dance Ensemble, Pep Band, Jazz Band, Chamber Ensemble. The School also maintains unique relationships with Symphony By the Sea, The Boston Ballet and Boston Children's Theatre.

UDA CAMP RECAP
Thinking about final day yesterday and how grateful we are for this week.

The Gulls brought home:
💙 Superior Award
💚 Gameday Superior Award
🥇 Open Fight Song Competition

But the most important award we received was the LEADERSHIP AWARD! This award was voted on by other teams as to who the most helpful, nice and encouraging team was throughout the week. The UDA staff put it best as to “if you had to join another team, which team would you want to be on?”. To ECDT, this is the most meaningful award and better than any 1st place trophy. What’s even better than this is that we tied with our best friends, the Johnnies from St. John’s Univ Dance Team !!! Thank you to all of the other teams for choosing us and for also all that you helped us with!

To the staff, thank you for pushing us and for all of the encouragement throughout the week. Special shoutout our team leader Maya for your energy and love for the Gulls!

The Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall arrives in Beverly tomorrow!

Tomorrow, our community will welcome the Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall with a rolling parade through the North Shore. The procession will depart the Topsfield Fairgrounds at 9:30 a.m. and travel through Topsfield, Danvers, Peabody, Salem, and Beverly, arriving at Beverly High School around 11:00 a.m.

If you're along the route, we encourage you to come out and help welcome this powerful tribute to the men and women who served during the Vietnam War.

11:30 a.m. – The Wall will be erected at Beverly High School, rain or shine.

Due to the forecast, the Opening Ceremony will now be held inside Beverly High School on Thursday, July 30, at 5:00 p.m.

Additional information about Friday's outdoor concert featuring a 30-piece band will be shared soon.

Please refer to the route map below if you'd like to gather along the procession and join us in welcoming the Wall to Beverly. We hope to see you there. 🇺🇸
