Recently took a trip down to Bikini Bottom with and had a blast! I didn't watch SpongeBob when I was a kid, but watching the Rising Stars perform this musical made me feel really nostalgic. Congratulations to everyone who worked on this show!

As someone who grew up in Rhode Island and went to college next to three beaches, I have never really been someone who loves going to the beach all the time in the summer. With that being said starting off the summer with this shoot made me realize that this summer is the summer for whimsical beach shoots!

It's always fun getting to work with other creatives because it's kind of like a merging of the minds. Emily came to me and asked if I would be willing to take her grad photos and I said of course! When we got to the shoot she said she trusted me to get all the photos that she wanted plus the ones I had ideas about. She came to me with inspiration photos for some of her images and I said let's do it! I can get very stuck in my same habits and it was so nice getting to work with Emily because she broke me out of those and really set the perfect mood for this grad season!

There are some people that you just can't take a bad photo of no matter how hard to try and Alyssa is one of those people. I love getting to work with her because she knows just what she wants but also loves getting to experiment and just put all her faith in me, which I am so appreciative of!

A little while ago I was invited to the Greater Boston Stage Company's dress rehearsal of their 24 hour production of Something Rotten. I got to perform in this show my senior year of college so I was excited to get to revisit it again but this time behind the lens. What is so impressive is how much these kids accomplished in 24 hours. That is all the time they had to put an entire show together and I can't wait to see how their next show goes in September!

About a month ago I got to take my mom's first professional business portraits in a studio! She allowed me to experiment with a new cloth background that I got and was so patient with me as I tried to figure out how to make an at home studio in a room with very low ceilings (see last photo for a little behind the scenes photo). With all the hiccups we had we still had a wonderful time! Thank you Mom for trusting me with taking your photos and for always being so patient with me!

I love getting to watch the younger generations grow up and discover their love for theater.

If you know me you know that High School Musical was my favorite movie growing up. I had the privilege of photographing High School Musical Jr a couple of weeks ago for and I really enjoyed it; so much so I kept catching myself humming along. It made me feel old thinking about how some of these kids may have never seen the movie, but it sure brought me back to when I was a kid!

Catalina and I met a couple of years ago and we fortunate enough to do Spotlight Drama Club together while we were both in school! She told me that I was her "campus celebrity" aka that person that you see around campus all the time, at completely random times and honestly I was 1000% flattered by that! I am so glad to have gotten to know Catalina and work with her both on the stage and with her in front of the camera for these senior photos! Not only is she a fun performer but an insanely talented athlete as well. Congratulations Catalina!
