💙 Today, we remember the lives lost, honor the heroes, and reflect on the extraordinary example set by the people of Gander, Newfoundland. After the horrific events that occurred in the United States, 38 commercial flights were diverted to Gander, a small town of about 10,000 people. The town opened its doors to nearly 7,000 stranded passengers. Gander’s citizens worked tirelessly to provide food, shelter, comfort, and compassion to strangers during one of the darkest moments in modern history. Gander reminded us that even in the darkest times, we can find light in how we care for one another.

We are saddened by the passing of Yolanda Cellucci, a longtime board member and passionate supporter of North Shore Music Theatre.

With her larger-than-life personality, Yolanda was always a welcome presence in our audience. Her spirit will also live onstage through the many glamorous pieces she generously donated from her iconic boutique to our costume collection.

We send our heartfelt condolences to Yolanda’s family, friends, and all who are mourning her loss.

Yolanda Cellucci​, a Waltham, Massachusetts native and well-known fashion designer, has died at the age of 91.
