Summer String Music Festival at Endicott August 17-21 , 2020 A one-week orchestral workshop for young string musicians at Endicott College in Beverly, MA August,

Summer is an ideal time for young musicians (ages 8 to 18) to spend a rewarding week playing together in a string orchestra. Located on the beautiful oceanside campus of Endicott College in Beverly,(we have moved 5 minutes from the Waring School) the Festival offers a fun-filled and educationally rich musical experience to the talented string players of the North Shore. Our new home is the brand

new Performing Arts Center with a gorgeous 250-seat concert hall! This one-week day camp will bring together the talents of many of the North Shore's best music teachers to present an orchestral program ideally suited to the age and level of each child. This week will culminate in a final performance for family and community.

Exciting news! The 2021 Summer Music Festival at Endicott is on! Dates are August 16-20. We are delighted to announce that violinist Susanne Powers is joining our wonderful staff! Susanne, is currently the Executive Director of the Portland Symphony Orchestra and maintains her violin studio in Ipswich.

All of our amazing staff will be back this August! I love our dates! August 19-23. That's 2 weeks before Labor Day and not as early as last year! Endicott College has been such a great location for the Festival. The private beach, air conditioning, amazing concert hall and the Ski Lodge (for lunch) are perfect! Come join us! Steve
