The Depot Seeks a Treasurer!

The Beverly Shores Museum and Art Gallery is looking for a Treasurer to join its Board of Directors.


We seek someone with prior nonprofit board experience and a professional background in financial management, accounting, or related fields. The Treasurer serves as an officer of the organization and provides oversight of financial policies and practices, budgeting, financial reporting, and internal controls. The role works with staff, bookkeeping support, the Finance Committee, and fellow board members to help ensure sound financial management and long-term sustainability.
This is an exciting time in The Depot's history. With a newly secured 50-year lease on our historic landmark building, expanding programs and community engagement, and a dynamic, accomplished, board, The Depot is well-positioned for a vibrant future. Being a member of our board is fun and rewarding.

New to birding? This event is for you. On Sunday, June 14, take a walk with the artists represented in our current exhibit, Feathers, and find out how they are inspired by birds and nature near the Depot. Meet at 10 am at the Depot, where you'll be asked to join one of three groups: Bird Watchers, Journalers, or Naturalist Strollers. Each is led by an exhibited artist. The groups will meet back at the Depot around 11:30 to share reflections. The Depot will be open until 3 pm; don't miss our newest exhibits. ps: The forecast looks spectacular for this event.

Who ordered up this perfect weather for our opening reception tonight! We hope to see you tonight, Friday, from 5-7pm for our new exhibit: "Feathers," featuring three well-known local artists who draw inspiration from our flying friends.

We've extended our popular exhibit on Bartlett homes as well.

Afterward, mingle with your neighbors on the lawn with a refreshment in hand.
