Melba Artea Fine Art Hello and welcome! I am a professional artist living in So. Cal. I love creating bright and colorful paintings using oil on canvas. Pet paintings are no exception.

I like to paint women and animals and whatever else inspires me. I'm excited to show you my next project when completed. Hi, I am Melba Artea, a professional artist living in So. I have been drawing, coloring and painting since I was a little girl. My art work would at times be posted at the elementary school office where all can see. I took art classes in high school and private landscape lessons

with oil paint right after highschool. I have painted murals in schools, children's bedrooms, churches, the Soboba Casino and Walgreens Warehouse in Moreno Valley. I am now painting women and beautiful animals. I love using oils in bright and colorful hues. I am a member of the Riverside Art Association, Corona Art Association, Corona Art Colony and just now joined the Pomona Valley Art Association. I retired early from the United States Postal Service in 2022. I am so grateful to God that I am healthy and able to focus on my art, my passion full time. Commission work is also something that I have been privileged to accomplish for many clients. It is so rewarding to see the happiness in my clients faces when they receive their finished artwork. I have painted many. I look forward to painting so many new creations on canvas. Life itself is an inspiration for me in creating a new art project. I hope you will follow me on my journey. An update on my artistic project in the backyard. I call it art because, boy did I need to get creative 😂. The exhausting portion of the project is complete. Now to create a design for the pavers. I'll paint later. 😁
