It was a stellar night for our clients in film and television at this year’s Actor Awards, handed out by SAG-AFTRA, with wins in four categories and Harrison Ford receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Ford brought his trademark wit to his acceptance speech and joked that the honor felt “a little early” at what he called just “the halfway point” of his career.

The cast of “Sinners,” with fellow clients Jack O’Connell and Jayme Lawson, won Cast in a Motion Picture.

On the television front, Seth Rogen won Male Actor in a Comedy Series for “The Studio,” which additionally won Ensemble in a Comedy Series—an ensemble that included 17 of our clients in Season 1. Meanwhile, “The Pitt,” starring client Taylor Dearden, took home Ensemble in a Drama Series.

Lisa Rinna is opening up about her decades-long career in Hollywood and reality television with striking candor, reflecting on both the highs and the lows of her life.

Her newly released memoir, “You Better Believe I’m Gonna Talk About It,” described by The New York Times as “breezy and self-aware,” explores everything from her career to her personal life, confronting the longstanding rumors and misconceptions that have followed her public image.

Despite her experience as an author—her past works include a self-help guide, a provocative s*x manual, and a novel centered on a Hollywood starlet—Rinna revealed to TNYT that she initially hesitated to write a memoir.

“I saw the fear, and I saw things that I needed to deal with but didn’t want to,” she says. “I then came to the decision that I probably should write the book because of what I needed to face: grief, pain, the toxicity of ‘Housewives.’”

Emerald Fennell’s bold adaptation of “Wuthering Heights” has topped the global box office with $83 million, her biggest film to date.

Written, directed, and executive produced by Fennell, the reimagining puts a strikingly modern stamp on the beloved gothic romance. Audiences are praising the palpable chemistry between Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi, along with the film’s sumptuous visuals and daring reinterpretation of the source material.

In his review for The Hollywood Reporter, Chief Film Critic David Rooney calls it “arguably the writer-director’s most purely entertaining film—pulpy, provocative, drenched in blazing color and opulent design.”

Additional client involvement includes executive producer Sara Desmond, director of photography Linus Sandgren, supervising sound editor Nina Hartstone, and Lie Still Productions.

Patrick Dempsey is leaning into the “dark side of his nature” for his latest project, Fox’s new crime thriller “Memory of a Killer.” He tells The New York Times, “I want to be able to go out and test myself.”

In his first major network role since portraying Dr. Derek Shepherd (aka McDreamy) on “Grey’s Anatomy,” Dempsey plays Angelo, a devoted father and grieving widower who is also an assassin-for-hire struggling with the early stages of dementia.

The part marks one of the TV legend’s darkest and most complex performances to date—a notable departure from his past work and one that appealed to Dempsey for its emotional depth and challenge, not unlike the demands of his auto racing career. There, he has competed at various levels across the U.S. and Europe and earned several podium finishes.

“In racing, I can tell you specific moments where I achieved exactly what I wanted to achieve,” he said. “I haven’t had that fully yet as an actor.” With “Memory of a Killer,” he may finally be closing in on that goal.
