Hello Actors! We are looking for participants for Seven Pillars Acting Teacher Training. Every semester, our teachers at The Actor's Studio of Orange County do Teacher Training to prepare to teach The Pillars. We workshop exercises and practice the technique's finer teaching styles. We need some volunteer acting students to join us at the training so we can test out the teaching techniques and exercises. Consider it a free acting class where you will learn the inside aspects to executing Seven Pillars, and perhaps it will be an introduction to a new approach to studying acting. The training is taking place in STUDIO CITY. Here are the time slots: January 4th, Wednesday 10:30- 1:30; 2:30-5:30
January 5th, Thursday 10:30-1:30; 2:30-5:30
January 8th, Sunday, 10:30-1:30; 2:30-5:30
Lunch is provided.

Been thinking a lot recently about The Pinch and The Ouch, as Meisner termed it. Acting requires the courage to actually Pinch and the vulnerability to experience the Ouch. But it goes the other way, too: the vulnerability to Pinch and the courage to actually experience the Ouch. Hopefully this adds a pinch of acting wisdom to your week!
