Diner tells the story of people dealing with a changing America. Set against the backdrop of 1960s Hollywood, the denizens of the L.A. Diner literally live and work in the shadow of the 20th Century Fox Studio lot where they see some of the day's most famous faces and cater to the crews and screenwriters that really make the magic happen. These people; two chefs - one black and one white, an aging

hostess, a waitress/aspiring actress, a gossip reporter, a stand in for a top screen icon, and a formerly blacklisted writer - learn who they really are as a result of how they react to the changing culture of Hollywood and America during one of the most tumultuous times either has experienced.

The 57th Anniversary Marilyn Monroe Memorial will be held on Monday, August 5, at Westwood Village Memorial Park. The memorial, arranged by the Marilyn Remembered Fan Club, will begin at 11:00 A.M. PST.
