📣 Mercer County Fair Board Annual Meeting & Elections 🎡🌾
The Mercer County Fair Board Annual Meeting has been scheduled for:
📅 Monday, November 9, 2026
⏰ 6:30 PM CT
📍 Beulah Civic Center
Annual Board elections will take place during the meeting, and we are looking for community members who are ready to get involved, bring fresh ideas, and help carry the Mercer County Fair into the future!
🎡 Why does the Fair Board matter?
The Mercer County Fair is so much more than a few days of entertainment each summer. It is a celebration of our community, our agricultural roots, our youth, our families, and traditions that have been passed from one generation to the next.
Behind those few exciting days is a dedicated group of volunteers who spend months planning and preparing. From livestock shows, 4-H and FFA activities and agricultural exhibits to entertainment, vendors, carnival rides, food, family activities and community events—the Fair Board works together to bring all the pieces into one HUGE event.
It takes people willing to share their time, talents and ideas to make it happen.
Serving on the Fair Board gives you the opportunity to help create an event where neighbors gather, children make memories, local businesses are supported, agriculture is celebrated, and longtime traditions continue—while new traditions are created. 🌾🐄🎠
🗳️ FOUR Board Positions Are Open!
We currently have:
• Three 3-year Director positions
• One 2-year unexpired Director term
You don't have to come to the board with years of fair experience. We need people who care about Mercer County, are willing to work as part of a team, and want to contribute to something that brings our communities together.
To be eligible, you must:
🎡 Be at least 18 years old by November 9, 2026
🌾 Claim a Mercer County address OR reside within Mercer County
Interested in putting your name on the ballot?
Please submit your name no later than October 30, 2026.
Our fair doesn't happen because of one person—it happens because volunteers come together with different talents, ideas and perspectives and are willing to put in the work to make something special happen for our entire county.
If you've ever attended the fair and thought, “I'd love to help with that,” or “I have an idea that would be great for the fair,” this is your opportunity to get involved!
🎡 Help us preserve our traditions.
🌾 Help us celebrate agriculture.
🐄 Help us support our youth.
❤️ Help us bring our communities together.
🎠 And help us continue building a Mercer County Fair that families look forward to year after year.

There are currently FOUR open positions:
• Three 3-year Director positions
• One 2-year unexpired Director term
If you love our community, enjoy working with others, and want to help make the Mercer County Fair bigger and better each year, we encourage you to consider putting your name on the ballot!

💙 Well, that's a wrap on the 2026 Mercer County Fair! 🎡🐄
What an incredible few days! We had a wonderful turnout, awarded a lot of ribbons, and were thrilled to see so many entries in both our livestock shows and static exhibits. The hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship of our 4-H, FFA, and Open Class exhibitors made this year's fair something to be proud of.

To our amazing volunteers—thank you. Our fair is organized by a board of 11 dedicated volunteers who spend countless hours throughout the year planning and preparing to make this event a success. We give it our best every year, and while there were a few hiccups with scheduling and the timing of some posts, we truly appreciate your patience and understanding.

We also want to thank everyone who took the time to share respectful and constructive suggestions. We received some wonderful ideas that we'll be discussing as we begin planning for next year. We are always looking for ways to improve and make the Mercer County Fair even better.

Most importantly, thank you to our exhibitors, sponsors, vendors, entertainers, judges, donors, volunteers, and everyone who came through the gates to support our fair. Your participation and encouragement are what keep this tradition alive.

From all of us on the Mercer County Fair Board, thank you for another wonderful year. We appreciate each and every one of you and can't wait to see you back next year! ❤️🎠🤠🐖🐑🐂

🥞🎶 Good Morning from the Mercer County Fair! ☀️
The Pancake & Sausage Breakfast is underway, Connie Gjermundson is providing wonderful live music, and the weather couldn't be more beautiful!

We've had a little confusion about today's schedule, so here's a quick update:

🥞 Pancake & Sausage Breakfast (Free Will Donation) will be served until 11:00 AM.
🎶 Live Music by Connie Gjermundson will continue until 11:30 AM.

A huge thank you to everyone who has come out to support the fair and our youth. If you haven't stopped by yet, there's still time!

Please consider supporting the Star Equestrian 4-H Club. They're doing a fantastic job hosting the breakfast, and every free-will donation helps them work toward their goals.
