One of my dear military friends is moving on 😭 This is always so bittersweet to say so long once again. She and her husband are off to a new fabulous adventure. I’m happy for them, but will miss her! I was honored to paint their historical Rock Island Arsenal home, including their pups on the porch, as a farewell gift. First Army 💜

Double the fun! The commission I’ve been working on the past few weeks was for two sets of two identical paintings. First up is the market! I don’t think I’ve painted a store before, much less two! I did these simultaneously so all color mixing would match and details inked would be the same. Faster than I expected to do it this way.
