Join us for our Open House on Saturday, August 29th from 10am - 1pm!

Ever wondered what being part of Eglevsky Ballet (EB) would feel like for a day? Soon we’ll welcome parents and students to our studios to experience our classes firsthand. You’ll have the chance to meet with our leadership, including our Artistic Director and faculty members, and see our spacious studios in person. We’re here to answer any questions during your visit!

✅Here’s what to expect:
-Meet with the Artistic Director and faculty one-on-one
-Tour our studios
-Register in-person
-Enter for the chance to win giveaways
-Snacks
-The Children’s Division will have open studio time for ages 3-6.
-Free demo classes for students ages 8 and under at 10am, 11am, and 12pm; for ages 9+ at 10:30am, 11:30am, and 12:30pm
(Each demo class will be limited to 8 students. Students and families can email [email protected] to reserve a time slot)
-Observe private lessons

We were thrilled to welcome back Alexa Testa, Eglevsky Ballet (EB) alum, to our studios as a guest instructor for our summer programs!

In a full-circle moment, Alexa returned to our studios, where she built a strong foundation for her current career as a professional dancer at Carolina Ballet. Now she’s shaping the paths of the next generation of EB dancers by sharing her perspective, artistry, and experience with them. 🩰

The Upper School
PTP, PTP Day Program
The Pre-Professional Training Program (PTP) was created to provide exceptional opportunities to
our students who have sincere and dedicated wishes to become professional dancers. These
students have shown the skill, desire, and commitment to the art to have a career in the dance arts.

Eligibility:
This program is by audition or invitation only.

PTP is the most advanced level Eglevsky Ballet offers. The work includes an emphasis on technique
as it applies to performance, more virtuosity in advanced technique, as well as a continued
development of style. Dancers are also prepared through increased expectations and time
commitments to be able to handle the heavy physical workload of a professional ballet dancer.
The PTP Day Program is intended to provide those high school-aged dancers who are serious about
pursuing a career as a professional ballet dancer with enough training time each week to achieve the
level of conditioning and artistry to succeed in this highly competitive field.

This elite and talented group of young dancers enjoys an expanded schedule of technique classes, exclusive residencies with renowned
educators, and master classes. Our ultimate goal is to ensure each dancer is beautifully prepared to
thrive in an ever-changing dance world.
