πβΈοΈ PASSION. PRECISION. PURPOSE. π
At Steel Ice Sports Academy, we're developing more than great skaters. We're developing great people.
This week, our figure skaters Riley, Sawyer, and Blair joined Miss Angela on the ice in pink, showing their support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the annual Pink the Rink initiative at Steel Ice Center.
And while the pink is a fun way to show support, the meaning behind it is so much bigger.
At SISA, we believe that being a student-athlete comes with opportunities to make a difference beyond the classroom and the rink.
Learning to support meaningful causes, showing compassion for others, and understanding the importance of giving back are all part of becoming a well-rounded young adult.
That's where our Academy's motto really comes to life.
π PASSION β For the things we love and the people around us.
βΈοΈ PRECISION β In the work we put in and the standards we set for ourselves.
π PURPOSE β In recognizing that our actions can have an impact far beyond our own accomplishments.
A special thank you to the Penguin Figure Skating Club for organizing Pink the Rink each October at Steel Ice Center. This annual initiative brings our skating community together to raise breast cancer awareness and support Pink Heals, including the Pink Heals Lehigh Valley Chapter, whose efforts make a meaningful difference for individuals and families facing cancer in our community.
We're proud to see our student-athletes taking part in something bigger than themselves.
Because at SISA, who you become matters just as much as what you accomplish. π
