I had some people reach out and ask about more clock photos. Here is one we worked on last night in class. I'll probably paint the hands white on this one so they are easier to see.

This week is Bob Ross Kids Camp. We do two different paintings each day.

During my lunch break, the kids are allowed to do free art time after they finish eating until I get back and the next session starts.

This kid, surprised me by copying one of my paintings that are hanging around the room.

They did it with no help and no circle matte. drawing the oval freehand and then painted inside the lines.

It totally blew me away!

It's been a really great week, with tomorrow being the last day. This was just too neat to not share.

Bob Ross is taking over the studio! I mean, not literally. But Chris is in this week working with kids to paint like Bob Ross for this week's camp. Here are the paintings after day one. These kids range from 5 to 9 years old.

I know things have been a bit quiet lately. But don't worry big things are coming this winter. If you've been to a recent class you've probably heard the news "unofficially"

Don't worry. Classes will pickup again in the fall and I'll be teaching more than ever and with a wider range.

Thanks to everyone who supports me and comes to paint. I really enjoy every minute of it.

Embracing color theory in painting isn't just about mastering hues and tones-it's a gateway to unleashing your creativity! We often feel the pressure to have everything figured out before we even start, but the truth is, color can be your best friend.

I remember when I first picked up a brush; I was intimidated by the endless colors in front of me. But with each stroke, I found out that magic really happens in the blending-a little blue here, a dash of yellow there-and just like that, a landscape comes to life!

So if you’re feeling a bit overwhelmed, take a deep breath, and remember: every happy accident is just a stepping stone on the path to your masterpiece. 🌳✨
