What a week!!!

Five 300's and two 800's.

Last Tuesday Brent Frisch kicked off the honor score parade with a perfect game on lanes 1-2 using his new 900 Global Portal.

Shortly after Brent rolled his last strike, Seth Evans connected for his final strike of the evening, capping off the night with a perfect game of his own on lanes 15-16 with his Storm Ion Max. Little did he know he had a lot left in the tank...

The Bethlehem Area Bowling Association City Tournament was contested this past weekend. On Saturday one of the most rare feats was accomplished as Kendra Boger connected for an 802 set on lanes 9-10 with her Storm Phaze II Pearl. The list of female league bowlers who have had a set of 800 or higher at the center is a very short one. Welcome to the club Kendra!!
Later in the afternoon, Sam Linaberry popped off a perfect game on lanes 5-6 during his City Tournament competition using his favorite Storm Ion Pro Solid.

As the tournament continued on Sunday, so did Seth Evans torrid hot streak. Fresh off his 300 game on Tuesday night, Evans pounded the pocket over and over on lanes 5-6 with his favorite Hammer Bubblegum Vibe to the tune of 814. Seth would proceed to shoot a 790 set immediately afterwards in the singles event. An amazing week to say the least.

As soon as the last ball of the City Tournament was rolled, the lanes were re-oiled for league competition and they remained 🔥.
Steve Hess got things started in the Any Given Sunday league as he continued what has been his best season to date. Steve rolled his second perfect game of the year on lanes 17-18 with his newest ball, the 900 Global Viking.

To finish out the week, in the same league, Rodney Barron made lanes 21-22 the setting for his first ever perfect game. Rodney used his Hammer Zero Mercy Solid to capture his special moment. Nothing like that first one.

Congratulations to all!!

Congratulations TJ! 😆

Last night Tj Clark crushed lanes 11-12 to the tune of 269-279-297/845. Battling a bad back and what he would consider a lackluster start to the season, he broke out a different ball choice, the MOTIV Raptor Reign and now has his average back to last year's mark.

Congratulations to Brian Worley who rolled a perfect game in the Legends of the Lanes league last evening. Brian used his Hammer Effect on lanes 1-2 to rack up his 12-bagger.
The Legends league offers a head-to-head Petersen point format for bowlers ages 60 and above who still have the competitive spirit. Proving once again that bowling is a lifetime sport for ALL ages.

It's been an Owen "One-Eye" Darby kinda week. 😉 😜

On Tuesday night in the Gary Piripavel Memorial league, Owen busted out of the gates with an incredible 289-300 start. History would tell you that an 800 series was a pretty safe bet but lanes 21-22 and the bowling Gods had other ideas. Owen and his Hammer Spawn finished up game three with a 204 leaving him with a great 793 set but feeling a bit frustrated.

On Thursday night at the other end of the center in the Perfect Game Pub league, Darby erased the disappoinyment of not finishing off his Tuesday night performance well. Owen woke up with a painful elbow and considered not even bowling that night. After a couple rounds of ice and anti-inflammatory gel, he felt good enough to give it a shot. It proved to be just what the doctor ordered. This night, Owen went with his Hammer NU 2.0 on lanes 3-4. Owen broke out of the gate with a 245 before dropping yet another 300 in game two and followed it up with a 279 for a huge 824 set. That's one heck of a week!
