Three Unique Concerts - One Uplifting Theme

Our friend Ellen Hwangbo is leading Constellations Chamber Concerts in fab events next weekend.

"Rise...with Hope in Your Heart" is a series of three unique programs, to be sampled individually or experienced as a whole. The series features work by Beethoven, Fauré, Tania León, Messiaen, and a world premiere by Daniel Pesca.

Join us for up-close chamber music, played by world-class artists, in a breathtaking venue located at Black Lives Matter Plaza, in the heart of Washington D.C.

While Rock Creek Chamber Players doesn't host a December program, you can enjoy a wonderful concert in the same venue on Sunday, December 15, 2019, at 3 pm. A fab string orchestra, called Tempo Giusto, will play music by Handel, Bach, Schubert, and Mendelssohn. Voluntary donations support Bethesda Help. See details below.

Rock Creek Chamber Players return on Sunday, January 12th at 3 pm. We'll hear Beethoven's fifth piano concerto, The Emperor, performed by John Sutherland Earle in a chamber ensemble arrangement. Then, for something completely different, we'll enjoy a jazzy woodwind quintet by contemporary composer Fazil Say.

We have a new home!🎻

As of January 2019, we'll be performing at St. Luke's Episcopal Church. This lovely venue is located at the corner of Old Georgetown Road and Grosvenor Lane.

The address is 6030 Grosvenor Lane, Bethesda MD 20814. It's next to the Wildwood Shopping Center, about a 10-minute drive from our long-time location.

Ample parking is available behind the church, in a lot shared with the Cornerstone Building.

St. Luke's is fully handicap accessible, with an elevator from the parking lot to the sanctuary level.

By public transit, the church is 1.5 miles from the Grosvenor Metro Station and a short ride on the J2 bus line from the Medical Center Metro Station.
