Dear Friends,
A quick note to let you know that unfortunately the Needlework Emporium will be put on pause for the foreseeable future.

Several factors played into our decision: rising costs for the venue as well as the difficulty in finding regional artisans and antique dealers that fit the vibe and spirit of our show. Also we sadly and unexpectedly lost one of very dear friends: Linda Sarubin, Antique Dealer and owner of The Gatchellville Store. It was quite the blow.

In the meantime, Debbie Hartwick, Stacey Bear and Kim Stout will be at the The Big Flea Market in Chantilly, VA for the March and November shows with antique sewing and their art.

We're going to take some time to regroup and discuss options for the future. We wish you a Happy New Year - please stay in touch.

Our Story

A yearly show in Bethesda, Maryland featuring needlework artisans, as well as antiques and needlework supplies.

The show is the brainchild of Truffle Pigs Antique Sewing. The Truffle Pigs are 3 friends: Debbie Hartwick, Stacey Bear and Kim Stout who all had a love of sewing and antiques. They met while participating as artists for many years in high quality Folk Art shows.

The Needlework Emporium includes professional artisans who create work in the genres of sewing, dyeing, weaving, cross stitch, embroidery, felting, and ceramics.
