Hannah Lipman is the Poet Laureate for Bethel, serving from January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2028. Creativity and connection have been at the heart of her life since childhood. A poet since the age of eight, Hannah has published her work in anthologies and online, and curates Poetry Corner as the Founder and Managing Editor of The Bethel Grapevine. Alongside her literary work, Hannah has led a

retained executive search firm for more than three decades and serves as a Board Director for Bethel Arts. A yoga teacher since 2009 and a Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT), she weaves mindfulness and artistry into all she does. Her poetry and art are inspired by nature, community, and the interplay of darkness and light
-each poem a reflection of her journey and her deep reverence for connection in all its forms. Hannah is currently working on her first book of poetry, which she will also illustrate.

We’re so grateful to welcome Barb Fulton Jennes, Ridgefield Poet Laureate emerita, as our Poetry/Storytelling Workshop leader on June 16th from 6:30–8:00 PM at Molten Java.

Due to an unexpected change, Barb will be stepping in to lead “What You Couldn’t Say Before: Stories from Our Lives.” We are delighted to have her guide us through this powerful and inspiring evening of writing.

We send Cortney Davis healing energy and hope she will be back to teach a workshop soon. 🙏
