A delicious evening of poetry, food, and friendship!

I’m so excited to be hosting our second Poetry for Your Palate at La Zingara!

Join us for a scrumptious family-style dinner as 10 Connecticut Poets Laureate (including yours truly!) share their poems about food, family, memories, and the stories that find their way from our kitchens onto the page.

The poems are featured in the newly released anthology Stirring the Muse, edited by Susan Marie Powers and published by Oranaug Mountain Publishers. This wonderful collection brings together 27 Connecticut Poets Laureate, each sharing a poem about food along with a recipe!

📚 Books will be available for purchase at the event! And with the holidays just around the corner, Stirring the Muse makes a wonderful gift for the poetry lovers, foodies, and home cooks on your list!
