I was on the river bank when they took out the Augusta dam back in 1999. Very excited to see this film about the transformation of the Kennebec.

One caveat: sure logging destroyed the river, but anyway we can bring back the log sluice hurling logs a hundred feet through the air, WHAT! So crazy.

Quality testing 𝗠aine 𝗢utdoor 𝗙ilm 𝗙estival today and got so sucked into “A Life Aloft,” the story of Paul Stumpf, art student turrned hot air balloon craftsman. It’s just such a beautifully simple machine, better trust your stitches!
