I am *clearly* not posting enough.

But why dwell on the past? Here's a great article about the legacy of the Muppet Show. (best show ever!)

The arrival today on Disney+ of all five seasons of The Muppet Show would always have been a source of good cheer, but in early 2021 it looks something like divine providence. Over the five years it ran, from 1976 to 1981, this showcase for Jim Henson’s most famous creations tickled us pink with i...

Latest puppet project for Bethel Middle School's upcoming performance of "The Lion King!" Zazu is still missing his body and wings as well as some plumage and a few other small details, but the hard part is done. Maybe that means no more 2:30am bed times for a while!

Antenna TV - a new channel to me - has pleased me tremendously by showing old "Tonight Show" reruns. Not the current show, but the real and actual and fantastic Johnny Carson episodes that aired from 1972 to 1992 (and not necessarily in order). I'm getting absolute enjoyment from hearing the classic theme song, seeing the old sets, and of course especially watching Johnny as he cracks cheesy jokes and make his guests look great.

But last night's show was one better. Last night, I got to see Jim Henson from his 1974 appearance with Kermit (long before "The Muppet Show"), and later in a bit with Frank Oz. A great night for television!

To put it in perspective - basically, last night, my two favorite things ever merged into one.

(Photo is from a different appearance.)
