We will be closed for *movies* starting Sunday, 8/16 - Thursday 8/20.

We will have limited showtimes this Friday, 8/14 and Saturday. 8/15, including the final 2 showtimes of The Invite, and the start of Green Day comedy, Ni**od.

Frank has also offered behind the scenes tours for winners, but I warn you these will include more complaining and risk (marquee changing, anyone?) than anything Mr. Wonka offered.

Join us Saturday, June 27th for a special event featuring a short film, two short plays, and readings from Chris Belden’s book of prison writings from the Garner Players: Daweed Ben-Yehuda, Felipe Colón, Jamal Gaines, Marquis Jackson, Floyd Lawrence, and Lex Melendez with Mark Aldrich, Chris Belden, and Beth Young.

The Garner Players theater troupe was established in 2009 at Garner Correctional Institution, a maximum-security prison in Newtown CT, in order to foster creativity, teamwork & a true sense of rehabilitation. Like the real-life characters depicted in the hit film Sing Sing, the Garner Players wrote, produced, directed & starred in numerous productions for more than a decade.
