Yo-ho-ho! We also need help outfitting our BIGGEST cast yet! We'd welcome donations OR loans as we hope to have nearly 30 actors in costume! Items that will help us make up our motley crew include ...
- [ ] Priority: BOOTS!!! See a breakdown of sizes needed attached to this post. Riding boots, motorcycle boots, old fashioned boots, pull-on Chelsea boots, lace up work boots, pointy toned boots, in all states of wear and all colors!
- [ ] ANY ruffly tops, tops with big sleeves, or old (stained) button down Oxford shirts we can modify
- [ ] dark colored vests & waist coats
- [ ] wool or classic military overcoats
- [ ] any accessories & sewing notions we could keep to pirate up boring items: brass buttons, chains, damaged costume jewelry, pocket watches, compasses, feathers, beads, pearls, brooches, ilk scarves, bandanas, handkerchiefs, belts, buckles, leather straps, long strips of un-needed fabric, iron crosses, boot spats, cuffs, old holsters, etc.
- [ ] canvas, muslin, broadcloth in dark cream or tea stained white (or willing to let us stain it)
- [ ] all sizes of menswear in deep, weathered colors like navy, charcoal, oxblood, faded black, or even sun-bleached neutrals.
- [ ] old leather belts, corsets, cummerbunds, sashes and wide waist belts
- [ ] flat. metal punch-outs (knockouts, slugs, blanks?) from electrical or sheet metal work (this one might be a stretch!)
- [ ] Oversized costume and plastic jewelry and treasures like medallions, coins, necklaces, chains, rings, etc.
