Great news to share! New and returning cast member parents are invited to this important meeting regarding the YDTGC spring season!

Curious about joining the cast of the YDTGC?

Join us on Zoom Thursday, October 29 at 6:30 PM for a Parent Information Meeting about our Spring 2027 Youth Dance Theater of Greater Chicago production, What the River Remembers.

Inspired by Lindsay Currie’s acclaimed novel Scritch Scratch and the true story of Chicago’s 1915 Eastland disaster, What the River Remembers will bring together dance, literature, Chicago history and theatrical storytelling in an original full-length production.

We’ll cover:
• What makes this experience different
• Rehearsal and performance commitments
• Auditions and casting
• Production fees
• What families need to do to join the cast
• Perks for being in the cast

Open to dancers ages 7+. You do not need to be a current Baila Conmigo/Dance With Me student to be in the show.

📅 Parent Meeting: October 29 at 6:30 PM – Zoom only
🎭 Performance: March 20, 2027
⏰ Video auditions open October 15! Video submission deadline: November 29
