Trying something different for ornaments this year, since I can’t work with resin right now. These are made with a new product I just found, . So far, I love it! Much easier to mix and wayyyy less mess than resin! I love the marbling effect from mixing acrylic paint with it! Can’t wait to make more! 🎄

Since moving to Colorado, I have seen sunflowers everywhere and I love them, so decided to paint one. I do not consider myself to be a watercolor artist. I have not painted with watercolors in years, and even in school as an art major I wasn’t very good at it. 🤪 But my focus in art and in life lately is to do things that bring me joy, and not focus on perfection. This little sunflower may not be perfect, but painting it made me happy, so that’s good enough! 😊 Perfect or not, it does make for a cute design on a mug, shirt/sweatshirt, tote bag or tea towel, and these are all available in my Etsy shop! 🌼

Lots of changes here at Angie Adair Designs! We recently moved from Mississippi to Colorado, and are renting a home temporarily. Since I am a *messy* artist, there’s no way I’m pouring resin in a rental house! I know my limitations. 🤪 I’m a little bit in limbo at the moment - trying to decide which creative avenues to explore until I have a studio space suitable for resin again. In the meantime, my Etsy shop is back open with several digital instant downloads, and a few print on demand items, some featuring this fun little watercolor pumpkin!
