Everyone begins as a child by liking Weather. You learn the art of disliking it as you grow up. Noticed it on a snowy day? The grownups are all going about with long faces, but look at the children - and the dogs? They know what snow is made for. - C. S. Lewis. | It looks like all of campus is the stage for Narnia, time to bring out the warm scarves and hot drinks, and light the fireplaces. Keep your hands and your hearts warm, fellow thespians!

Auditions are coming up soon, and this is just a quick reminder to everyone where the TRUE heart of theatre lies. There’s no small part in theatre, it’s togetherness and the experience that count, as corny as the honest truth sounds. We rely on every theatre member, from main actors, to the production team, to the extras who come in to help at the last minute. What makes or breaks a performance is the cooperative ability of the entire theatre team.

All is peaceful and quiet in the small town of Messina, Sicily until a prince of Aragon and his entourage of soldiers and servants decide to pay them a visit. They bring joy and festivity with them to the House of Leonato and cause two couples to be thrust together, one under a disguise and the other through the careful machinations of the prince. Observing all this is the prince's bastard brother and his minions whose soul craves to ruin the happiness of those around him because his heart is that of a villian. | Interested in supporting and attending? Today is the last showing of The Ugly Duckling. You won’t want to miss out on this wonderful play that will make you laugh and think about beauty in a new way. Tickets are only $7 and will be sold at the door in Buller Hall starting at 4 pm and the doors to Newbold Auditorium will open at 5 pm. Don’t miss out!
