It’s Dan’s birthday! Dan is also a Nurse Practioner at Virtua hospital‘s emergency department, and works in nephrology for kidney patients. (Smart man! 🩺🥼) He’s also a father of three, a devoted softball dad, as well as a business owner and TikTok influencer!

He brings the humor to our show - always cracking the audience up with his saucy moves 🕺🏻🌶️ One of Dan’s best qualities is his relentless positivity - always shows up happy, dances happy, and leaves happy! ☀️ like a ray of sunshine!

1. “Is it real fire?”
Yes 100%

2. “Do you ever get burned?”
Yes, burns are part of every Fire knife warrior’s journey. Some common spots are hands, fingers, chest, arms, sometimes legs (so basically the whole body.)

3. “Is it hot when you put it on your tongue or feet?”
Yea, it feels like the temperature of raw flames! As warriors, we ride it out until the last second we can stand. It’s something you have to train your mind and body for, building up the time it’s on your tongue.

4. “Do you wear some kind of flame repellent?”
Nope, just our bare skin.

5. “How did you even decide to start doing this?”
We learned from fathers, uncles, grand fathers, and great grandfathers. We have a long lineage of warriors in our family who performed in international tours, Cirque du Soleil, and luau shows all over the islands. It’s a generational legacy and an immense sense of pride for our family.
