I’m back! I’m setting aside time for painting now, because everything else on my to-do list has felt more important. I kind of forgot that for me, creating is important, too.
My husband asked for some orange paintings for his office. When choosing a color palette, orange has historically been at the bottom of my list, but I think it’s growing on me. 🧡

It’s been forever! I painted for the first time in months last week. I feel like a beginner again. While that has bothered me in the past, this time I was able to just be curious about how the paint was moving and not concerned about the outcome. Free of expectations! It was fun!

My husband wanted something cheerful and bright, with yellow and green for his office. I coated them with resin, which gives them a smooth, glass-like appearance. Love him and love these!
