Actors Ensemble of Berkeley Actors Ensemble is a community theatre organization, active in Berkeley since 1957. The heart of Berkeley theatre since 1957!

Our volunteer actors, designers, builders, and production assistants create a magnificent theatrical experience every night, both for the volunteers and the audience. Our mission is to enrich, entertain and improve our community through fascinating theatrical works. With social consciousness and an ensemble approach, we provide area residents with opportunities to attend, participate and grow thro

Long-time Actors Ensemble actor, director, board member, and member of the founding generation of Actors Ensemble, Donna Davis, passed away recently. A celebration of her life will be held this coming Sunday, May 31 beginning at 1:30 PM at The Berkeley Unitarian Church in Kensington. All are welcome. More info follows:.......
We will gather to sing, listen to some readings and eulogy and then in the reception time to share stories, enjoy some desserts, watch a looping slide show and, at Donna's emphatic request, to dance if you wish.

We look forward to having time together with you in her honor.

If you would like to make a gift to charity in her honor, we recommend the Yosemite Conservancy - she had a deep and abiding love of being in Yosemite.
