Actors Ensemble dedicates A Midsummer Night's Dream - Free Shakespeare in the Park to the memory of Robert Gudmundsson who passed away this past Saturday. Bob touched the lives of so many people, and was so important to Actors Ensemble of Berkeley where he managed the rentals for Live Oak Theater, designed and built sets, designed lights, acted a little bit, was instrumental in our returning to John Hinkel Park in 2013 and for many years thereafter (including beginning the tradition of grilling at intermission), and generally acted as friend and source of wisdom to everyone. He was the best of all of us. A memorial of some kind is still being arranged, most probably the weekend of September 19th, for more details please write us at [email protected].

Edit - the memorial has been scheduled for September 20th, 3-7 pm. Here is the info:
