Position Descriptions: (3 Total)

One Project Coordinator (Social Media + Outreach): The role of this coordinator is responsible for managing marketing and advertising materials, including, but is not limited to, managing social media updates, posting flyers and event material, spreading awareness about the day of the launch, and contacting potential sponsorships or partners. All coordinators are responsible for contributing to general event planning during weekly meetings. No social media experience necessary, but preferred!

Two Project Coordinators (Tech + Digital Designer): These coordinators will be responsible for designing and coordinating our web-gallery and digital zine. Additionally, these roles will be helping in the technical side of the event (i.e. connection issues, sound checks, etc.) All coordinators are responsible for contributing to general event planning during weekly meetings.

‼️ COVID-19 UPDATE: POSTPONING QAFS 2020 ‼️

Given the current situation regarding COVID-19, we are unfortunately postponing the third annual Q***r Art and Fashion Show to Fall 2020. Our “Thrift and Fix” workshop originally scheduled on Wednesday, April 8th, 2020 is canceled and will be postponed to the Fall as well.

The new date has not been solidified, however, those who have already applied will be contacted individually and provided the opportunity to have their application be considered for the Fall. We will also re-open the application form during that time. Please take care of yourselves and each other, and reach out to us if you need any support 💜

1. NO modeling or design experience required. QAFS was the first modeling experience for many of our models in our past shows!

2. You can wear your own clothes! (or design if you would like). More than 90% of our past models wore clothes from their own closet and did their own hair/makeup. If you need help with styling, please reach out to us and we can try to work something out!

3. We will have workshops for you to get comfortable with walking and posing!!

4. You get to meet and build community with other q***r and trans folks in a space that empowers all bodies, styles, and expressions!
