Based in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, The Steel Wheels have been going strong for two decades. Known for their rich four-part harmonies, they’ve expanded from a purely acoustic band into a dynamic folk-rock sound featuring banjo, fiddle, mandolin, and guitar.

Late for the Train was born from an eclectic group of musicians who all share a love of American roots music. Part songwriter’s storybook and part jamgrass playground, the band’s powerful live show uplifts the spirit and rouses the soul.

This Wednesday celebrated The Freight's volunteers with a lovely appreciation party that included an open mic session and some delicious food!

You see our volunteers every time you visit us for a show. They greet you while scanning your tickets, assist with seating, move chairs to open up dance floor shows, to name just a few things!

They are a huge part of our community and we couldn't do what we do without them.
