Set in a projector room, PRPR Ensemble hosts bi/monthly play readings of q***r and multiethnic narrative. Founded in March 4, 2017, the Projector Room Play Readings Ensemble (PRPR Ensemble) is a small indie theatre troupe based in Berkeley, California. Set in cooperative living spaces, PRPR Ensemble hosts play readings and workshops on the issue of q***r and multiethnic narrative using the talents
of q***r, diverse, and passionate actors, directors, and performance artists. PRPR Ensemble, or "The Projector Room", is founded to provide more opportunities for WQPOC Creatives to engage in socially relevant and socially impactful art. The Projector Room strives to feature and uplift WQPOC voices onstage. The Projector Room strongly believes in creating a strong network of artists to support, encourage, and strengthen one's artistic craft. We are home - and we welcome - artists who have just begun their artistic career in the theatre as well as those who have had prior experiences onstage. As always, performances are FREE and OPEN to the public, but donations are strongly encouraged and welcomed. We pay our actors/performance artists at the end of the night based on donations at the door. We look forward to seeing you in one of our performances soon!
