California Pipevine Swallowtails are only found here in California and have only one host plant: Aristolochia californica aka Dutchman’s Pipe. If you have this plant, you’ll know it can be tricky to establish but once it gets going it is vigorous! 🌱

Did you know that a group of butterflies is called a kaleidoscope? Well, you’ll have a kaleidoscope of butterflies in your garden once the Pipevine Swallowtails find this plant. 🦋🦋🦋

And now you can let your neighbors know all about this amazing plant and butterfly relationship with this garden sign! This is what the butterflies and caterpillars look like, and this is the special plant. Pipevine Swallowtails live here!

I’ve been so excited to finish this illustration and sign because these butterflies are dear to my heart. It’s here!! This illustration was hand drawn by me. As an environmentalist let me just say: No AI ever. Just Actual Imagination, years of practice, and love.

A new logo for 💚

I’m organizing an art market! I started earlier this year to connect with and support other artists in the Bay Area, and creating vending opportunities like this is just one way I’m making it happen! 💗

I’ll be vending along with fifteen (15?!) other local artists and makers on 6/26 at winery. Thanks to everyone vending at Berkeley Art Club’s first market, Donkey & Goat Winery for hosting, and YOU for marking your calendar and showing up to this Berkeley event! 💫

Enjoy natural wines, live music, delicious food, and local vendors for an evening of Bay Area magic! It’s from 5 - 9pm so you can pregame with us before Pride weekend events. 🌈😌
