Today, BW Conservatory welcomes 12 high school orchestras to campus for the 2nd annual Northern Ohio String Festival! Participating ensembles will perform in Gamble Auditorium and receive an instructional clinic, and have the option to attend an exclusive performance by our own BW Symphony Orchestra.​​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​​

BWSO had a very successful Run-Out tour on Tuesday, October 24.

The orchestra performed at Strongsville and Avon high schools, and would like to express our gratitude to the schools and directors for allowing us to share BW and our music with the students!

Finishing out the week will be our concert in Gamble Auditorium on Friday at 7:00pm where we will celebrate 125 years of the BW Conservatory!

BWSO is still hard at work! The next concert of the semester is right around the corner. On Friday, October 27th at 7:00 PM the orchestra will perform wonderful music by Jessie Montgomery, César Franck, and will feature last year’s Lauria Concerto Competition winner, Reneé Long on Samuel Barber’s Violin Concerto.

The Baldwin Wallace Symphony Orchestra is proud to present its first concert of the year on September 22nd 2023.

The program will consist of works by Mussorgsky, Chobanian, Del Aguila, and Baldwin Wallace's own composer in residence, Clint Needham.

Professor of Oboe, Johanna Cox-Pennington will be performing "Broken Rondo" with the orchestra on the English Horn.

The Baldwin Wallace Bach Festival 2023, presented by the Kulas Foundation, will be in full swing starting tomorrow! Performance times and dates:

- Friday, April 21st - Bach and the Brandenburgs at 7 p.m. in Gamble Auditorium featuring our special guests, the Baroque band ACRONYM and Catharina Meints.
- Saturday, April 22nd - Appear and Inspire featuring Cleveland’s Bach Choir playing with Baroque band ACRONYM at 7 p.m. in Gamble Auditorium.
- Sunday, April 23rd - Mass in B Minor being performed by BWSO at 2 p.m. in Gamble Auditorium.

Mark your calendars and come out to the BWSO concert on February 10, 7:00 pm in Gamble Auditorium. Catch the rest of this beautiful piece, composed by our own Tyler Hodgson '24.

The concert will feature The Firebird suite by Stravinsky, Mendelssohn's Hebrides Overture (Fingal's Cave), Kevin Day's Lightspeed, Elgar's Ni**od variation, and Hodgson's Hope Has Not Yet Perished.

The Ni**od Variation will be performed in memory of Maestro Dwight Oltman, who taught at BW for 44 years.
