Weston Studio Glass is located in the historic craft community of Berea, Kentucky. Visitors to the studio are welcome to browse our gallery for one of a kind pieces and have the opportunity to watch as glass is drawn from the 2050 degree furnace and shaped into unique creations. Hours and glassblowing schedule vary by season and production demand so please check with us if you are visiting specifically to see glass blowing in action. Home School and other groups welcome.

🎃🍂 We are ONE WEEK AWAY from The Old Town Fall Festival!

From our Glass Pumpkin Patch to the Pumpkin Glow Garden, local artists, food vendors, family-friendly activities, and Fall Fest After Dark, there’s a little something for everyone. We can't wait to see everyone there!

Here is the full festival schedule so you can plan your weekend:

FRIDAY, OCT. 16
🎃 6-9 p.m. | Pumpkin Glow Garden Pre-Glow + Best of Glow Voting
Get the first illuminated look at the garden presented by Maddox Made. Friday is the ONLY chance to vote for Best of Glow!

SATURDAY, OCT. 17

🔥 10 a.m.-5 p.m. | Glass Pumpkin Patch
Fire & Fern Glass Studio’s patch features more than 300 handmade glass pumpkins and fall creations, all made right here in Berea. Explore Old Town’s artisan shops, shop with maker vendors and catch live demonstrations all day!

🎬 A little movie magic is coming to Old Town!

We’re so excited to have the Appalachia Cinema Preservation Society joining us for the 2nd Annual Old Town Fall Festival this year!

They’ll be showing films Friday evening during the Pumpkin Glow Garden Pre-Glow, adding a little vintage cinema to the glow of the pumpkins. 🎃✨

Then on Saturday at 8 PM, stick around after a full day of glass pumpkins, shopping, costumes, and Glow Garden fun for Moonlit Cinema on the Green! 🌙🎥

🍂🔥 Our fall workshops are in full swing! Our Glass Ghost and Oktoberfest Stein workshops are both hands-on experiences where you’ll work alongside our instructors and take part in multiple steps of the glassblowing process.

👻 Ghost workshops are 30 minutes, $95 per piece and can be booked for one person or a group of up to four.

🍺 Ready for Oktoberfest? Create your own handblown glass stein! Choose your colors and design, then work with your instructor to shape your stein and add its signature handle. This 40-minute, hands-on workshop is $95 per piece and can also be booked for one person or a group of

This time of year, as the studio fills with pumpkins and we get closer to the Old Town Fall Festival, we always start feeling a little nostalgic. 🎃

Because for us, glass pumpkins go back a long way.

Before Fire & Fern and before Berea, there was First City Art Center in Pensacola, Florida. It’s where Jacob taught Lauren to blow glass in 2015.

For years, fall meant pumpkin season. Together with an incredible team of artists, we helped make more than 1,000 glass pumpkins each year for FCAC’s annual Pumpkin Patch.

Those years showed us how something as simple as a handmade pumpkin could become a tradition—and how art could bring an entire community together.

When we moved to Berea and opened Fire & Fern, we carried a little bit of that experience with us. Last year, we planted the first seeds of our own Glass Pumpkin Patch and Old Town Fall Festival here in Old Town.

And now, we're doing it again. ❤️

It makes us incredibly grateful for where this all began—and pretty excited to see where it goes.

The Pumpkin Glow Garden prize baskets are shaping up to be AMAZING this year! 🎃✨

There will be four winners, and thanks to the generosity of so many local businesses, each winner will take home a basket packed with prizes, gift cards, local experiences, treats, and more.

We’ve been busy in the hot shop creating glass pumpkins for this year’s Glass Pumpkin Patch at the Old Town Fall Festival. Here’s a little sneak peek at what’s coming! 🎃🔥

Every pumpkin is handmade right here in Berea, with its own colors, shape, and personality. And we’re not stopping at pumpkins! Keep an eye out for handmade gourds, acorns, ghosts, and other fall favorites.

Spend your Saturday, Oct 17, at the Old Town Fall Festival exploring the Glass Pumpkin Patch, shopping with local artists, and soaking up all the fall fun. Then stick around, because the party is just getting started!

As evening falls, the Pumpkin Glow Garden comes to life, alongside an evening full of family-friendly fun, including:
