Usually, I post all of awards and achievements these dancers have won (which is a lot because these dancers stand out and place high at every comp) but today, I wanted to brag about them outside of being a dancer.
This season has been the season of resilence and in my opinion long overdue for one. Things just have not been going as expected...
No where to practice/warmup, dancers sick at every comp, reblocking dances, silly mistakes on stage, earrings coming off on stage, prop malfunctions, etc.
However, these girls have shown up for each other everytime, rather that's happiness, sadness, fear, etc. They love each other like family. That's what we are, family.
Our studio won the sportsmanship award and to me that means much more than any placement.
That means they clap for others, even outside of the studio.
Moral of the story,
These girls are great dancers but they are great people too! And that's all you could ask for as a teacher. 🫶❤️
