WINDSOR KNOT
Think I'm OCD....or just a**l about this...
I was performing at a corporate family event the other night and there was a 10-year-old boy who had the absolute perfect double wins or not or more correctly called just a Windsor knot on his tie I was very impressed, a tight little triangle. Apparently earlier that day the whole family spent time on YouTube learning how to tie a proper necktie knot.
He nailed it.
Later that night day well respected businessman and I were talking and I couldn't drag my eyes off of his frumpy half Windsor knot on his tie. A cold sweat broke out as he spoke I could only concentrate on a half Windsor.
I think this is as a result of my father telling me when I was a kid when he taught me how to tie a Windsor knot that don't go about it half baked ( he used another word instead of baked). And over the years I learned to tie it with one hand while driving a car to work when I worked for the Hilton years ago.
