🎭 Puppet Improv & Story Lab 🎭

I've been busy getting ready to teach students at Clover Community School's summer camp!

Throughout the week, students will learn the basic building blocks of a story—heroes, sidekicks, villains, goals, challenges, and solutions. They’ll work in groups to create “choose your own adventure” and Mad Lib-style stories, then make puppets to bring their characters to life.

We’ll be looking at The Little Mermaid to explore the elements of a good story before launching into our own one-of-a-kind stories and characters.

I'm looking forward to a week filled with creativity, laughter, and lots of imagination.

Captain Hook relies on his faithful first mate, Smee, to help carry out his latest schemes. Across Wonderland, the kind-hearted King of Hearts and the devoted Ace of Hearts do their best to keep up with the ever-demanding Queen of Hearts.

Whether they're following orders, offering advice, or trying to keep the peace, these loyal companions find themselves caught in the middle of the adventure as the race to restore time unfolds.

Once upon a time, Lord Hatter was a respected nobleman, the March Hare was a royal boxer, and the Dormouse was the royal trumpeter.

Then time broke.

After years of the same tea party, the same tea, and the same endless afternoon, they've all gone a little mad. Now they're delightfully daffy, wonderfully wacky, and completely cuckoo as they pour tea, tell stories, and celebrate the same afternoon over and over again.

Meet the Lost Boys of Never Time!

The Lost Boys are stuck in boyhood while time remains broken on the island. Unable to return home, they have made Neverland their home and follow Peter Pan into every adventure. Fox is witty, clever, and mischievous. Bear is rough, rowdy, and playful. Moose is big, silly, and lovable. Together, they fill Neverland with excitement, laughter, and just a little bit of chaos.

Meet the Flower Court of Never Time!

After refusing to move for the Queen of Hearts' croquet game, Princess Tiger Lily and the Flower Court were banished to the Crossroads between Wonderland and Neverland. Now, with time broken, the flowers are exhausted from constantly performing without rest. Princess Tiger Lily leads with courage and wisdom, Lady Rose brings bubbly charm and laughter, and Lady Daffodil adds plenty of sass, drama, and flower-powered confidence as they wait for balance to return to the island.

The White Rabbit stole the last clock to save time itself and must keep moving to keep it out of the hands of the Queen of Hearts and Captain Hook. Meanwhile, the mysterious Cheshire Cat watches over the Crossroads where time should live, appearing and disappearing as he offers impossible clues to the Adventurers on their quest to restore time.
