I graduated from Skyline High School in Front Royal Virginia. I was the only person in my high school to take 3 graphic design classes, because they only offered two. They made a third class just for me where I did art for the school such as shirts, fliers, the yearbook cover, etc. After graduation, I couldn't wait to start collage at the Art Institute of Virginia Beach. I love what I do and I was
eager to dive in to all the classes they offer. The courses at school however were not enough; I needed to do more. I went to a local skate shop and asked if they needed artists for boards or signs around the shop. There is where I landed my first Art Director position for Believe Skateboard Co. where I worked for about two years. I am currently a full-time student at the Art Institute working to further my education as a 3D Character artist. Along with my classes at school I recently took a 10-week character boot camp taught by Ryan Kengslein, the Founder of GameArtInstitute.com and Uartsy.com, as well as Jarad Vincent, a character artist for “Ready at Dawn.” I am always trying to grow and learn new things; I utilize my recent education and experience with Zbrush and other supporting design software to conceptualize designs, model characters, and create illustrations.
