Happy March! This month’s inspiration is Gavin Gardens in Hot Springs, AR. Last March I went to see the tulips and took my paints and sketchbook. This might be the first time I’ve painted in public like that! Then I went home and painted some of the pics I took too. You can see the pic and my sketch that turned into the calendar. Also this month is unusual because I painted it first and then added the black (usually I do the black first and fill it in). I love how it turned out. Might be one of my all time faves!!!

February inspiration post!! One year ago, my son got engaged to Micah Martin! We had a fun engagement party and had these green flower vases as decor and party favors. Scroll on through to see the wedding that was November 15!! It was a big year and we are thankful for our new DIL!!! HBD this week too, Micah! 😘
