Friday night Chip series round 2 recap:
A full house and then some. Such a pleasure to have so many people that want to play in these tournaments. I wish I could tell everyone yes but time and space are limited. Our eight on break side pot is still up there over $5200 now. Kevin Picado’s ticket was drawn and he opted to let his dad Martin make the attempt for him. No luck. Everything rolls over again. I appreciate everyone’s patience last night as we had a few computer glitches along the way. Our top 6 players were:

4th - Steve DeChant
5th - Patrick Fleming
6th - Eric Soliven
Round 3 will be September 11th. This will be the only Friday Chip tournament due to BCA state in September. Remember to message me early to save your spot. We are so excited to announce that we will be expanding our league play to now include Ultimate Pool League here at Campus Q! The new session is right around the corner starting on Thursday Sept 10th.

What a wonderful day it was, we ended up with 22 teams for our scotch doubles tournament today that was held in memory of our dear friend, Victor Aranda. I have always felt that all the people that I have been lucky enough to meet through pool has given me another family. And today we felt that deeply. It takes a village to put one of these tournaments on, and our tribe today was outstanding. Thank you, Josh LaRock and Randy Smith, for wanting to put on this tournament. Thank you to Mike Schaub at Campus Q Billiards for giving us a venue to hold it at. Thank you, Mandy Fulbright, and all those who contributed baked goods for us to have so many delicious items at the bake sale. Thank you, Blackie Morris, from the Southwest Michigan APA for donating 2 pool sticks for us to raffle off. Thank you to Patrick Wilkinson for donating a signed Pearson Cue to put up for auction for the event. And most of all, thank you to everyone that came out today to play, donate, share memories and just have a great time. Some tears were shed, but happy memories were in the air and Victor this one was for you.

Starting August 31, 2026 we will be charging a $1 fee for all credit card transactions. We no longer have a minimum, and the fee will be waved for one time purchases over $50.

Doors open tomorrow at 11AM. Don't forget we have added a bake sale to this event thanks to Mandy Fulbright, and we would like to thank Blackie Morris from Southwest Michigan APA Pool League for donating a couple of pool sticks to also be raffled off at this event.
