If you've been thinking about meeting one of the animals here at Wild World of Animals, you might be wondering what an animal encounter is really like.
One thing we've learned over the years is that no two encounters are ever exactly the same.
Whether you're meeting a sloth, feeding a capybara, spending time with a kangaroo, or seeing a tiger up close, every animal has its own personality. Some are curious, some are more laid back, and some keep us guessing. That's part of what makes every visit a little different.
One of our favorite parts is getting to talk with visitors during their encounter. We hear questions about everything from what the animals eat to their personalities and daily routines, and our animal care team enjoys sharing what they've learned over the years.
We've had families tell us their kids were still talking about the animals on the ride home, and adults often tell us they learned something new during their visit. It's always fun hearing those stories.
If you're planning a visit, we recently put together a guide that explains what you can expect during an animal encounter, what you'll learn, and how to reserve your visit.
