Get ready for the 2026 Family Hare Scramble hosted by Valley Trail Riders MC! We're bringing back all the adrenaline-pumping action, with age groups from 110 to 50 years old, and introducing the all-new Mom Class!

Join us for a thrilling 2-hour team race on Saturday, June 20th, 2026, kicking off at 10:30 AM. Gates open Friday evening for a whole weekend of family fun!

Entry fee is $30.00 per rider. Minimum 19/16in wheel combo allowed to race and ages 12+. (Due to insurance reasons)

Ice races at the Valley Trail Riders Sunday, March 1st.
We got out on the ice this morning and checked the thickness. We had 9 inches, up to 14 inches in places with minimum water underneath. The guys were out this afternoon and plowed off the snow (Thanks to Jordan Bargeron for the help) it all looks good. We know tomorrow's forecast is a warmer day but it's still cold at night. Don't them tires off yet.

We got the word that the conditions at Leisure Lake are not good for an Ice Race, so Valley Trail Riders are looking at the possibility of another race at our track. The forecast is looking like some single-digit temps at night this week and we are trying to round up volunteers to help out. We know it's a long shot but we are going to keep a close eye on it and we will let you know.

We took a look at the track today and there’s a lot of water on the top and the ice is mushy in many places. We drilled to find a lot of ice but the top is not good. The forecast is not in our favor either. So the races for this Sunday at VTR are canceled.

I'm up and headed to the club this morning. Some good news it's only 0 degrees this morning, unlike yesterday at minus 19. It's like a "heat wave" and it'll be warming faster as the day goes. What a great day for a motorcycle ride, welcome to Michigan and the Valley Trail Riders !!!

The "Winter Challenge" is back this year. Tomorrow, Sunday, January 25th, we got a trail for bikes at 11:00 tomorrow morning and a different course for ATV's at 1:00 in the afternoon. This is a picture from last year (it was cold last year, too)
