Oldsmobile's flagship model - the Ninety-Eight - reached its apogee in the late 1960s. Peak power, peak options, at least five freshly-designed body styles - and no downsizing yet. These attributes boosted sales considerably after a lull in earlier generations. Here on eBay is the popular convertibl...

The process of marrying an Italian exotic with dirt-simple (and cheap) American muscle car mechanicals is a tried-and-true tradition of the replicar marketplace. Frankly, it's a nice change of pace from using a VW Bug as the basis for your cheap supercar build. Over the years, different attempts hav...

Here, again, is a moment in time wherein we should all be buying up these Viper-powered trucks before they become absolutely unobtainable. And that works on two fronts: one, there weren't that many made, and sellers seemingly rarely part with them, and two, the prices have been far too low for what....

The Streamliner was a mid-level car built and sold by Pontiac beginning in the 1930s and through 1952, with a break during World War II. When production resumed after the war, there were few changes in the 1946 models. Six and eight-cylinder versions were offered, with the seller’s car having the ...

Before crossovers took over American roads, full-size sedans like the Mercury Grand Marquis defined comfortable long-distance travel. With body-on-frame construction, V8 power, and a ride quality seemingly designed to smooth out rough pavement, these big Mercurys earned loyal followings that continu...

Hoping to reclaim some of the market share the Ford Mustang had lost since 1967, the company introduced a “luxury” model in 1969 called the Grande. The Grande had a higher level of trim than regular Mustangs and came with a vinyl roof. The model lasted through 1973 but didn’t return when the r...

The Blackhawk was a lavish, hand-built car that was designed for the rich and famous audience. The Stutz brand was resurrected in 1971, and these wild-looking cars saw no more than 600 assemblies through 1987. Unlike other examples of the Blackhawk we’ve seen, this one is a “barn find” and wil...

The 1969 Plymouth Road Runner has long been one of the icons of the muscle car era, and this example listed on eBay comes with a combination that should catch the attention of Mopar fans. Located in Shelby, Montana, this genuine Road Runner is powered by a 383 cubic-inch V8 and backed by a rebuilt.....

No all-new car may have fallen from grace as quickly as the 1970 Plymouth Barracuda. Treated to a new platform and styling in 1970, the Barracuda’s sales jumped by 50% over 1969. Yet, for the 1971 model year, the hot car found 2/3 fewer buyers. And that was while the big-block engines were still a...

Call me crazy, but I prefer the look of this 1989 Dodge Power Ram W350 diesel over any pickup Dodge has made since the redesign in mid-1993. The company has a history of making trucks look basically the same for decades, and the current pickups have looked basically the same for over three decades n...
