Fall means a fresh start and that’s the case for our beginner classes for Bachata, Salsa, and Latin Hustle. Ballroom Tango is on the schedule for good and Line Dancing is back at the end of the month. Also, we’ve got 2 socials happening, including our Back to the 90s Cali Mix Party! Our last video is from our guest performer, Rihanna, representing the 2020s with a salsa solo! We were so fortunate to have her perform this for us as she prepared to go compete in Las Vegas at the Ultimate Latin Dance Championship (which she crushed BTW). The future is bright for this one.

Fun Fact: Rihanna was 4 years old when she first started salsa dancing at Art in Motion with Sharonne as her teacher!

We are back with more "Dancing Through the Decades" showcase videos starting with Youth Hip-Hop. The 2010s were a decade of viral dance crazes, fueled by social media, YouTube, and music videos that turned simple moves into global trends.

We are starting today's video posts with one of our favorite decades, the 80s, & our favorite groups, Prima Dance Company.

The 1980s were a transformative decade in dance, marked by a fusion of styles, the rise of street and hip-hop culture, and the mainstream influence of film and music videos. The inspiration for this number opened in London's West End in 1986 and on Broadway in New York in 1988.
