The Bennington Branch of the BFYMCA is collecting donations for the Bennington County Coalition for the Homeless

We are collecting:
New or Gently Used: Tents, Sleeping Bags, Blankets
&
New: Shampoo, Conditioner, Deodorant, Tick Spray, Reusable Bags, Harm Reduction Supplies, Toothpaste, Toothbrushes, Lotion, Band-Aids, Ointments, Gauze, Feminine Products, etc.

Vermont has an incredibly high unhoused population, mostly due to a mixture of mental illness, unaffordable housing, and a lack of housing. This is a dangerous combination for the vulnerable members of our community.

Drop-off locations can be found at the Rec Center and at the Sports Center. Please consider donating, but if you can't donate, share and spread the word!

Our Monday Intro to Pickleball activity was a huge hit this month, so Noreen added another time slot!

In addition to Mondays, Pickleball will also be available on Thursday evenings from 6 to 7 PM at the Rec Center.

Registration starts next week, so mark your calendars!

Pickleball is free for Y members, and membership starts at only $11/month for Bennington residents.
