We are a small (mini), dit (do it together), creative workshop located in the Historic Arsenal Building in beautiful Benicia, CA.

Our workshops range from mixed media to mini making (who doesn’t love minis?!), often times even combining the two!

I’m participating in Mini Joy Month over on Instagram. Today’s prompt, “A Pair,”inspired me to create a little giveaway — including a free printable set of miniature love letters, cards and postcards in both 1:12 and 1:6 scale. 💌
I’m also giving away a finished 1:12 scale keepsake set with the tiny correspondence, photos, keepsake box and even a teeny jar of shells from a walk on the beach. 🥹

Woot! Finally enough energy back after Covid to work on my !

I’m using sticker paper to put this design on the front… my dream is to one day have a house that I paint flowers all over, so having a little fun w it in miniature is a good place to start!

For some reason my matte sticker paper has decided to not be vibrant for this design (I’m certain it’s a user error, if you have any tips, I’d love to hear them!), so I printed this in glossy sticker paper… the first one I tried a spray satin sealant & it got splotchy, so for this one I used mod podge… cue the brush strokes. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Where it’s going to live, it won’t be very noticeable, so I’m leaving it (why’d I get so defensive in the reel?! 😆)

I’m having fun putting this little writer’s nook together… have you guessed yet where it’s going to live? 😉💖

Another couple of pieces completed for the super secret project… I had hoped to have it finished this week, but Covid interrupted those plans (rude. 😒) also, if you know me, I greatly dislike being sick… it’s such a waste of time and energy. And obv feels yucky as well.

anyway, enjoy the Pinkalicious-ness of the desk & bookshelf! 💖

I loved making all of the little bits, especially the orange typewriter! I have a real life vintage typewriter in my studio… folks use it to sign up for the newsletter 😉🧡

Oh! Some of the ready-made bits are from a collection of vintage Tomy dollhouse pieces I have - which is part of what inspired the 1:16 scale of this little writer’s nook.

The pieces to my super secret project are coming together 🥰

I styled these shelves with some sweet minis from my collection, and made a bunch of what I affectionately call “cheater” books to line the shelves. Loving how it’s coming together! 💖

It’s time for another update on the super secret project 😉

I had hoped to have this finished before last weekend, but as is often the case, I have more ideas than time 😂

Bookcases for the Writer’s Nook are nearly done… and there is more to come… maybe I can get it finished by this weekend 🤞🏼💖
