Mid-October through early April, The Pavilion offers opportunities to enjoy the covered, outdoor, NHL-size ice rink including open skate, family skate, curling, hockey and more! Spring through September, The Pavilion offers roller skating, inline skating and skateboarding and registration programs such as roller hockey, adult cornhole and dodgeball leagues and youth summer day camps.

The community is processing Thursday's tragedy at Silver Rail Elementary, and we want to respect the needs of community members and our staff.
-- BPRD is canceling all registration recreation programs through Sunday, Oct. 18, including youth soccer, flag football and swim lessons. Cancellations are being communicated directly to patrons and updates are posted at bendparksandrec.org.
-- BPRD's parks, trails and recreation centers, Juniper Swim & Fitness Center and Larkspur Community Center, are open for community use.
Time in nature and with others can be incredibly helpful in difficult times, and we hope BPRD's shared spaces provide comfort.

Do you know a youth age 5 - 18 who might be interested in learning about hockey and developing their hockey skills? The Pavilion offers a range of options, including:
· Try Hockey for Free (co-ed) - Ages 5-18 - Activity # 310200: Provides a chance for beginners to try hockey at no cost.
· Girls Hockey Development Program – Ages 6-18 - Activity # 310211: Focuses on skill-building and improving overall hockey abilities.
· Girls Hockey Clinics – Ages 6-18 - Activity # 310211: Offers specialized instruction on specific skills and techniques.

Want to get your kiddo started in ice hockey? There are still some spots in Youth Learn to Play Hockey: Level 1, beginning Nov. 4. Learn to Play Hockey is a progressive lesson series that introduces young players with little to no experience to the sport of ice hockey. Sessions build basic hockey skills and fundamentals through drills that promote teamwork, physical fitness and enjoying the time on the ice. Rental gear available: $50.00 (ID) or $60.00 (OD).
Prerequisite: Completion of Learn to Skate Level 1 or mastery of basic skating skills including forward skating, stopping and turning.

Now's a great time to get a BPRD Fitness, Swim & Skate Pass for The Pavilion's ice season, indoor workouts and more. Choose your frequency and save for drop-in activities such as ice skating, fitness classes, fitness center workouts, swim sessions, hot tub visits and more. Let's get those skates sharpened up!
• Pre-season dropoffs: Thursday - Friday, Oct. 8 - 9 at 2 - 6 p.m.
• After opening on Wednesday, October 21, drop-offs are available daily during open hours, 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.
• Skate sharpening: $10.00; new skate sharpening: $15.00.
• Other services: Rivet repair $2/each. Eyelet repair $2/each. Rusty blade $20 (includes sharpen).
Please note: Early-season turnaround can be a little longer due to high volume of skates.

Friday, October 2, marked the end of our roller season at The Pavilion. We want to extend a huge thank you to all our wonderful patrons for skating with us this season. We had a blast, and we hoped you did too.
❄️ Ice season is tentatively scheduled to open on Wednesday, October 21. The Pavilion is closed temporarily from October 3 through the 20th as we transition from roller skating to ice. We’ll share some fun updates and photos along the way!
