UPDATE UPDATE!!!!  it looks like weather might not be that great next week so We are now holding the Duffle Bag Dash Race this Thursday!!

 Come on out and support!!!! grab your bike, grab your friends let’s fill the track!!

On Thursday, October 15th Bend BMX is putting on a special race night to support the 2026 Duffle Bag Dash.

Started by pro BMX racer and Olympian Nicholas Long the Duffle Bag Dash was created to give back to BMX’s pro racers by building a cash prize purse for the USA BMX Grand Nationals.

For this race, 100% of the race entry fees, after required USA BMX fees, will go toward the Duffle Bag Dash!

So come out, get some laps in, and help us put some cash in the bag!

We’re also making this one a little more special:

Custom Duffle Bag Dash awards will be given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in every moto!

Over the last three years, the Duffle Bag Dash has raised more than $90,000 for BMX pro racers. Tracks around the country are stepping up in 2026, and Bend BMX is proud to be part of it.

Updated post: 👇🏽 ⭐️ Monday Night Racing/Bob Warnicke Fundaraiser Race ⭐️

🎉 "The Bob Warnicke Memorial Scholarship Program was established in 1995, to honor the memory of the National Bicycle League’s late vice president. Bob passed away November 16, 1994, at the young age of 48 years old. Bob played a very active role in BMX for 10 years and was well known for his instrumental role in bringing BMX to millions of viewers through the airing of the “NBL Road to Glory Series” on ESPN and ESPN2.

More than anything, Bob was a person who cared deeply about the sport of BMX. His dedication showed his commitment to the youth who benefited from his efforts.

The Bob Warnicke Memorial Scholarship Fund was created to assist students and their families in meeting the costs of undergraduate college education, trade school, etc.". -USA BMX

⭐ Funds raised from tonight's race are donated to the Bob Warnicke Memorial Scholarship Fund.

- All ages and skill levels are welcome. Long sleeves, pants, and closed toed shoes are required; pads and gloves are recommended.

- Don't have a bike? We have loaner bicycles and helmets here for you. 🚲

- Practice and registration is 5-6pm, with racing starting at 6:15/asap.

$10 per rider. Your first race is FREE!

- Even the littlest of riders can race here. We have a designated strider track for the kiddos without pedals.

🎃 October is here and there is an extra race on the calendar this month 👀👻

-Bob Warnicke Local race will be hosted the 12th of this month.

-Halloween race the 31st! Start your Halloween day with a BMX race in the morning. More exciting info to come!

-Olivia Armstrong clinics have ended for the season. We are here to keep you riding and learning!

-With the sun setting earlier we will be working to get the races started promptly. Keep an eye on our socials for any time changes as needed.

Will we see you Monday night? 9.28.2026 we are hosting the annual Race For Life event. USA BMX is among the top fundraisers for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, so let’s get some bikes on the track and support an incredible cause 🎉
