SETC and ETC present VOICELESS: A MUSICAL Spotlight on: Richard Choate (Director) has recently finished co-directing Cat on a Hot Tin Roof for CTC with his friend and colleague, Juliah Rae. He also directed The Mousetrap and Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors in CTC’s 2024-2025 season. Recently, Richard took a break from directing and appeared in TMP’s production of Cabaret and as Robert in Greenhouse Cabaret’s production of Proof. He also directed The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) (revised) (again), for Greenhouse Cabaret as well as Fiddler on the Roof, Noises Off and You Can’t Take It With You for Cascades Theatrical Company. Richard first appeared at CTC in Vanya, Sonya, Masha and Spike directed by Juliah Rae. Voiceless: A Musical is his 18th production in Central Oregon since 2016.

SETC and ETC present VOICELESS: A MUSICAL Spotlight on: Betsy Green (Featured Ensemble) is really excited to be working with the Ellipse Theatre Community and Silent Echo Theater Company on the World Premiere of Voiceless: A Musical. She has been a part of the Bend theater community for eight years now. She has been in High School Musical Jr., 13 The Musical, Legally Blonde Jr., Newsies, and Beauty and the Beast Jr. Betsy has also worked on the production team for Fun Home (producer), Declaration (stage manager), A Swingin Tower Christmas (stage manager), Mary Poppins (crew) and West Side Story (crew). She would like to dedicate her run in Voiceless to her friends and acting coaches Jen Brissman and Sean Montgomery for helping her realize that she has the ability to speak up for herself when needed.
