As a small, regional opera theatre company, OperaBend proudly collaborates with Central Oregon Community College to curate and showcase at least one full-length production with orchestra and chorus each year. Our repertoire spans the grandeur of opera, the charm of operetta, and the nostalgia of American Broadway classics. At OperaBend, we celebrate the diversity of the operatic world, weaving together timeless tales that educate the minds and captivate the hearts of our audience. Our Fall Concert Series features Bend native violinist John Fawcett performing Bruch's soaring Violin Concerto No. 1, alongside Bernstein's sparkling Overture to Candide and Beethoven's beloved "Pastoral" Symphony.

Our 2026–27 season is here!

A new chapter begins as Jonathan Moore takes the podium for his inaugural season as Music Director of the Central Oregon Symphony. The season brings together beloved masterworks, exciting guest artists, music by living composers, and several Central Oregon premieres.

Juliet Hollifield-Texas
A lyric coloratura soprano originally hailing from a cattle ranch in Montana, Juliet is thrilled to be back at the Greenhouse Cabaret! She has previously appeared at Greenhouse as Sonja in Natasha, Pierre, & the Great Comet of 1812 and as a soloist for Liza’s Lounge. She has also previously appeared as the Usherette in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Regina Koontz in Rock of Ages, Mabel in Pirates of Penzance, El Gato in El Gato con Botas, Dawn in The Best Little Wh******se in Texas, Papagena in The Magic Flute, Anne Egerman in A Little Night Music, Liesl von Trapp in The Sound of Music, Snoopy in You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown, Margot in Legally Blonde, and Heather McNamara in Heathers! The Musical. She has also been pleased to perform with OperaBend, Eugene Opera, Tacoma Opera, Puget Sound Concert Opera, the Seattle Gilbert & Sullivan Society, Opera on Tap Chicago, and Sinfonietta Bel Canto, as well as singing with The Chicago Carolers and the Dickens Carolers in Seattle during five holiday seasons. Juliet holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Vocal Performance from Central Washington University and a Masters Certificate in Fundraising Management from Boston University.
